Holstein Freedom Violin Chinrest

Love this chinrest!

I was intrigued by the Holstein Freedom Chinrest, so finally decided to take the plunge and order one. First, I love how it looks on my violin! It also really helps to open the sound! It's very comfortable and after a couple of days I was hooked! I highly recommend!

Wonderful!

I wanted a change from my Guarneri chin rest as I realized it wasn't the right fit for me. I liked the Stuber previously but the shape of the Holstein Freedom Chinrest caught my eye. It wasn't like the others and the fact there was less of it meant my instrument might vibrate a bit more freely. Once I tried it out I found it was indeed...freeing. That was the only word I could describe it as. Great quality product and I would highly recommend at least trying it if you can!

Beautiful

This chin rest was so beautiful and well made! It looked amazing on my violin and I didn’t notice any detriment to the tone. Unfortunately, it didn’t fit my anatomy but did send me looking in the right direction. A Strad style fits me comfortably and I wouldn’t have known if this chin rest didn’t point me in the direction of Guarneri style first. (My violin came with something else when I bought it.). Fiddlerman was quick with shipping and quick to respond when I needed to return. Amazing quality and craftsmanship as well as customer service. I am a repeat customer with no intention of stopping 😁
