Bourbon Vanilla Chai Loose Leaf Tea

A delicate but interesting flavoursome brew

This isn't a robust full spiced chai but a much lighter tea with the warmth of ginger but some aromatic and sweeter notes too. There's no strong tannin bitterness but a rounded full flavour without being overpowering. I used two teaspoons of tea, a cup of water, a splash of milk and a little sugar and gently simmered it for 5 minutes or so. Delicious!
