Definitely meant for skinny/slender babies - my 5 month old is really long for his age so we bought the 12 month sized. He is not walking or crawling yet, and has really chunky thighs. It’s a bit difficult to zip up over that area, but the rest of the suit zips just fine. Thinner material, so it’s a good sleeper outfit is you are layering with swaddle blankets or sleeper suits; baby should not overheat.
