I read the review on your antique brass socket I called the store and since I needed polished brass they referred me to this one. Very heavy socket it installed very easy and it works with a led dimmable even if it says incandescent, used a XMprim dimmable led 22w 2680 lumens. I needed to change over to led to get more lumens used on a floor lamp.
