Good but not good

While the product is what I ordered, and works with my base station, yay! it came with one of the two springs to hold the batteries in place detached. I have rigged the spring in place so that the unit works, and sent an email to customer service the same day it was delivered. 32 days later, still no response. I will be unable to change the batteries without this minute little spring jumping out, and then what? Buy another one?

Old one broke, new connected super easy.
