I love this cozy corner of the web where you can find other people who appreciate the slow act of writing letters. I was just connected with my first pen pal and it has been a great experience so far.

Daily Highlight

I have recently signed up for London Letters and found the process very smooth. I particularly like the fact that you are dealing with a small business and very much feel that you are receiving 1:1 attention. Receiving the pen pal bios are the highlight of my day and I miss receiving them at weekends. So far I have not found a match that I have been drawn to. However, my bio is due to be published this week and I am keen to see if it receives any responses. If not I shall be patient and see what else comes through. It is interesting to receive details that do not necessarily meet your initial criteria due to the curiosity it invokes and I think it is a good way of considering other avenues. After all, if you don't reach out to a wide collection of people, I think it is easy to get stuck in a rut.
