OptiVizor - Regular Snout - Clear UV Tint

Our dog had cataract surgery at Cummings Veterinary Medical Center of Tufts University. She needed to protect her eyes at all times but the cone was cumbersome, knocked into things and didn’t help outdoors because branches and twigs could breach it. She was agitated after the surgery because of prednisone but we couldn’t fit her in her old crate with the cone so she would pace overnight and bang into things. A soft cone improved the noise level over the rigid one she came home in. Her doctor mentioned the Optivizor in the post-visit notes. We were impressed with the quick turnaround on our order. It made an immediate improvement to our dog’s quality of life and ours — better sleep and ability to walk on our regular trail without getting tangled in branches.

The optivizor fits very well and is doing it's job of protecting the eyes. It's easy to clean. The only complaint I have is my dog is a standard poodle with very fine ears. Her hair gets stuck and tangled in the excess velcro that hangs out. I could cut the velcro, but would rather not.

The OptiVizor is a beautifully made product which we bought as insurance after our recently rescued dog had surgery for her entroprion eye condition. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for eye protection for their dog. Much more comfortable and convenient than a cone.
