Excellent system

Of the several adjustable dumbbells I have owned, this is definitely the easiest system of weight adjustment mechanism I've experienced. With a lifetime warranty, I feel confident that the spring mechanism, though plastic, will be reliable. The feel of the dumbbells is likewise competitive with other styles in this price range. And the quality and size of the weight plates themselves I would rate best in class. The casing and design makes removing the dumbbells and replacing them much easier than some of the other brands. I would recommend these above the Select-A-Weight and Bowflex and other like brands.

Just what I wanted

The dumbbells are very easy to adjust. Some of the weight settings require a pretty big jump in weight. For example, moving from 28 lb is a 5 lb jump to 33 lb. Forces a bigger step than I would have chosen, but it worked. So, overall that is not a huge problem.
