Seedlings are thriving!

These all germinated for me and grew into strong little plants. They’ve been transplanted out onto the balcony and haven’t had any issues with our very hot days, cooler nights, and strong winds. They’ve got little flower buds now so it should only be a few days!

These sweet beauties were worth the hassle. They were a little difficult to germinate, prone to dampening off early in the spring. Started in May and bloomed in August (Lower mainland urban garden zone 8) Tolerating the heat really well. They are much bigger than I anticipated. In fact, they're almost 2 feet tall with large long lasting blooms both in the garden and as cut flowers. A soft butter yellow colour that is cheerful and pairs well with almost any colour in your garden. The bees love them.

Growing well. Bigger and better germination than Sparky. Haven't put them in the ground yet. Still too cold here.
