I bought this as I already love Nilgiri tea and thought it would be interesting to try the chai blend. I have had it black and also with some oat milk for a more authentic drink. Both are great and you can really taste the blend of different spices whilst maintaining the Nilgiri taste.

Service with a signature

Gently Stirred doesn’t automatically convey to me top quality, lovingly presented teas (and brilliant coffees). But I’m not drinking these lovely brews for their name, I’m drinking them for their taste. I’ve found a connoisseur who signs his name by hand on the compliments slip, and sells interesting and high quality teas with the postage price included. This feels like old fashioned customer care and individual service. Unfortunately, the more Gently Stirred is known and appreciated, the more unlikely it is these high standards will remain…. but for now, it’s a treat to open these little parcels of quality.
