My Floor Too Rough

We removed the carpet glue with Diamabrush. Chucked the red pad on my buffer and got about 60 square feet (with water) before the pad was completely shot. I wanted to polish my concrete, but with 800 square feet, it would cost too much to buy all the pads needed. My concrete must be too rough; not much cream on top. We will try another route.
