Wonderful Waves Wrap Crochet Pattern

Easy to follow pattern

This is my first time reading a crochet pattern to create something. I wasn’t familiar with one of the stitches, so I had to look it up, other than that, this is a fun and easy pattern to follow. The colors from the Rainbow Ombré Pack make this a bright and cheery project. What’s special about this pattern is the texture … it reminds me of the ocean when it washes up to the shore.

Excited to start making this wrap. It seems like the perfect project to start going into august. Will be able to use as a wrap for cooler nights towards end of summer, and as a cozy blanket like scarf into the fall and beyond. Now must pick out the yarn :u1F9F6:… :blush:

Wouldn't recommend for beginner-intermediate

I wanted to love this pattern, and the end product is beautiful, but I didn’t like that there were no alteration tips given, I.e. if you wanted a wider/shorter shawl, how many to chain. I had to attempt an educated guess using my intermediate knowledge of crochet and even when I got it correct on the second try, I found the instructions a little confusing in their formatting. I wrote them out in order without all the back-to-back asterisks, but by then I had lost my will to continue the project.
