A Solid Purchase

This is a well constructed 3 season softshell jacket. It’s bullet proof and although it has an athletic fit (which I like), it still allowed me to comfortably wear a couple of layers underneath. The hood is made to fit a helmet but by cinching the chords around and behind the hood, I am still able to wear it comfortably without a helmet. It has become my favorite go to softshell around town as well as my back country mountain hikes. I am 6’0” and weigh 200 lbs. The large fit me perfectly.

Cool Southeast to Cold Utah

The Paladin Hoodie has worked well in low 50s with high winds and higher humidity of SE Florida (regular shirt no base layer) and even better in the 7,000 ft altitude of low 30s light winds of Utah (with smart wool base layer). Plenty of easy to access pockets. Good fit (size large, I’m 5’11” at 182lbs) and construction.

Great Jacket!!

This is a well made jacket that looks great . It's got lots of pockets for storing stuff and I like that it is a little heavier fabric than most rain shells so provides a bit more warmth than a thin rain shell. My only minor issue with it is that the hood is a bit large and sometimes covers my eyes.
