Excellent Dac

The internals are excellent for the value but the outer build is subpar and feels very cheap, JDS made a poor option on skimping out on build material quality, would have paid a bit more for something higher quality. Overall this is an excellent choice in comparison to the Schiit stack for Canadians. Buying from deskhero has given me an excellent option for a desktop amp/dac stack without having to pay insane shipping fees and import fees from out of country. Even Amazon has very limited budget options. Currently using this with my HD660S headphones

Excellent value and no border shenanigans

Thanks to Deskhero for making this available and at a reasonable price for Canadians. It arrived quickly enough and it was recognized instantly on my Linux kernel 5.10. Without anything to compare it to, I'll just say that the sound quality of the DAC is very pleasing. Movies and music sound better compared to the DAC that I had before; Very warm and laid back.
