Madison Zebra G Fountain Pen

I'm in flex nib heaven!

Like probably everyone on this page, I thought I wanted a Pilot Falcon nib that I could bend and flex, but realized I would eventually snap it in half trying to make it do what a dip pen can. I thought I was dreaming when I found a fountain pen that could take a Zebra G (but sadly NOT a Blue Pumpkin...maybe someday). I was optimistic but prepared to be disappointed, but my friends, once I inked it up, I was not disappointed in the least. It feels good in the hand and writes even better. Would recommend. Does everything it promises and looks stunning doing it.

Overall the pen is well made and attractive. The parts work well, and the balance is perfect. The Zebra G nib is nice and flexible, but a bit scratchy. I had to smooth the corners and shape the bevel just a little for my needs. The nib has a tendency to gather ink under it when flexing, so I think the feeder could be reworked to accomodate.

Great pen. I bought it for drawing and I love its nib.
