Almost Impossible - NOT for Beginners

While I love the idea of creating the fabric, this is nearly impossible as written. I had to make significant modifications to the execution as no amount of pinning held together the woven fabric as I hand sewed the outer edges. All the work of weaving and making even was absolutely pointless and I had to start over and find my own solutions, namely machine stitching strips to the top and one side, then weaving together and machine stitching again before folding over each end and hand stitching. If I were a beginner, I absolutely would have thrown this in the trash. Wanted to love this bag but it was absolutely infuriating.

Simple and fun - my first handmade bag!

I took my time to write this review since I wanted to finish my Bento bag. I couldn't be happy with my kit, the process and the final output! Videos are very well explained, the quality of the kit is beautiful and the bag is such a great gift. Overall I really enjoyed building my bag, I love it bring PDF so I don't need to be on the screen the whole time. Instructions are very easy to follow, so it's a great beginner project.

It is beautiful...but...

The bag is beautiful. The instructions are difficult to see. White on white? Yes, there is a video, but I highly suggest using a different color thread, especially when hand sewing, so we can see. Be warned, there is only enough twill in the set for one bag. I needed more because of an oops and had to order more twill tape. I will try again. I really wanted to love this.
