This is the best such garment I have ever had. It replaces an ORVIS safari shirt which literally wore out after 10 years. But the Kakadu is miles better. The large expedition breast pockets carry everything I need, The stiffer fabric provides wind and light shower protection, without being heavy. Worn loose, it covers a tee or a larger shirt. And the leather collar is practical and stylish.Wear it on the coast, in the bush, around homer and in the city. It’s a great photographer’s jacket. And the colour: right on trend, it’s getting a lot of compliments. I think this one essential overshirt should see me out in the next 20 years.

A strong shirt for protecting your skin when doing whatever you do. This is a great shirt for outdoors activity. I have not had a chance to wear it in the winter yet, but I reckon it will keep me warm however, I have worn it on nearly 40 degrees days and I did not overheat when working outside in our outback sun. I think these types of shirts may keep you cool if you wet them while outside on 40 plus days. They may be the cheapest air conditioner on the market.
