Best allround coat I owned yet
Some years ago I was looking for a long, durable, practical und decent looking coat, intended for literally everyday use. After doing some research, I ended up with the Longrider 3-in-1 and, from day 1, was never disappointed.
I'm standing 185 cm barefoot at 100 kg. I've had a XXL and XL. XL is a little short and tight aroung my chest (125 cm), but XXL is a perfect fit for me. Especially because of the length. Most other coats I found ended much higher, somewhere between my ankles and knees, leaving my calves partially or fully unprotected.
It has numerous different pockets on the inside and outside. The large outer ones with the snapdown flaps are big enough to put my sunglass case (Oakley Sports hardcase, quite bulky), along with gloves and other things in them. So there's a lot of room to store your stuff. Guess who's usually chosen to be the mule during family trips. ;-)
Replacing my first coat after about two and a half years of daily use (because of wear and tear) I would absolutely recommend that coat as a rugged, though not indestructible ;-),good looking and really comfortable allrounder.
I've worn it every single day, all year round, from -10°C (adding the detachable liner) to almost 40°C, in rain, sun, snow, wind and any combination thereof, often carrying a 10 kg backpack while commuting or travelling. So I do have quite a lot of practical experience with it.
Two and a half years may not sound like much, but given the circumstances mentioned above, the coat held up very well. Besides... I would be rather surprised, if any other coat or jacket would do any better than that.
Since I'm very satisfied with its materials, fit, quality and design, spares are already ordered and on their way.
