Very snug going on and off

Overall great helmet to protect the little ones with modern safety, lightweight, style. The removable breath deflector is a stand-out feature. Be warned: the opening it smaller than other helmets of the same size making this helmet hard to get on and off. Even when daddy pulls the straps out, it's uncomfortably snug on my lil man's ears and cranium. The helmet fits great after the child's head is fully installed. I'm sure there's a safety element and trade-off to a snugger opening - it's certainly a notable trait to consider when buying.

This helmet fits my little one great! I love my 509 helmet and knew we needed one for our little one too. It’s not too heavy and has great padding and protection from the cold.

This helmet is perfect for kids, the built in balaclava keeps them super warm and shielded. Highly recommend.
