Zoologist Dragonfly (2021) Sample

It smells great! The basil is more prominent than some of the other notes, and it kind of smells like baby wipes, but other than that, I like it!

Very clean and fresh; I love the grassy & rainy essence of this one.

Definetely going to be my signature scent for spring 2026, as soon as I took a deep breath of this I went and acquired a travel size alongside some other samples that had peaked my interest. This cologne has a fantastic cooling quality which is something I come to really like from fragrances. The overall light mossy, green notes i pick up on work so well with the almost algae-like aroma of the wetness and cooling first impression the fragrance has. As it dries down on my skin especially a quite unexpected ginger quality does come through, but not too spiced or too peppery just very much distinctly ginger freshly cut, and it’s working in tandem with the light powdery quality the fragrance gives on my skin.
