There is a learning curve but, with all good tools, there usually is. The gyro cutter was mentioned by the collage/gelli print/acrylic artist Patricia Stuart in passing in one of her tutorial videos. She uses it for large stencils on the gelli plate. Thought I'd try it and yes, i love it. Great for cutting botanical grasses as well.

This Gyro-cut works just fine on iron-on transfer paper. I am pleased with the outcome of my project/crafts. It took very little practice to learn, however I did watch a YouTube on how to use the tool. Would recommend to all my crafting friends.

This little gyro-cutter is super fun to use and is great around little curves. I recommend giving it a try!
