Hank Spanks Yarn Sock in Watercolor Yarn

I've tried to use these but they don't stretch the right direction. They stretch from open end to open end instead of side to side. Maybe I just don't know how to use them properly.

I love the hank spanks! Now I need some huge ones for 8 oz cakes!

I love how the new fabric stretches! However, it is very slick, so if you wind yarn around the outside of the spanked cake after ripping back, it may slip off very easily.
