I asked UHS customer service why they were selling the digital and analog versions of this lock body at different prices. From my research, it appeared that the lock body was field configurable as either digital or analog. The sales director was at first dismissive of my inquiry and told me I needed to talk to a safe professional. After I informed him that I am a certified safe and vault technician and GSA safe inspector with certifications from Sergeant and Greenleaf and Kaba Mas, he simply resent their sales information without answering my question. Fortunately, Securam has excellent service videos and my beliefs were correct. There is no reason for UHS to have the digital and analog versions of this lock body for sale at different prices. They are 100% same item and they are just causing confusion.
