Classic Lavash Bread, 120g

Looking for Syrian Bread? This Lavash Bread Is A Great Alternative!

I've been looking for a very specific type of folded, unleavened flat bread that my grandmother and mother referred to as "Syrian Bread." I was able to order it online from a huge, well-known Middle Eastern market in Dearborn, MI several years ago but all my online searches for "Syrian Bread" these days turn up bupkus. I decided to give this Lavash Bread a try from Parthenon Foods and it was delicious. Tear this up and throw it in a pan with some good olive oil and fry it for a few minutes, then add some water and salt and cover for a couple minutes and it brings me back to my childhood. Crispy, chewy, salty, unctuous perfect accompaniment to what we called "Lebanese Breakfast" - kalamata olives, sliced tomatoes, greek yogurt, fried eggs, bacon and Syrian Bread.
