Nordstrand The Power Blade 4 String Precision Bass® Pickup

I just completed a Fretless P Bass with a Nordstrand Power Blade 4 String Precision Bass® Pickup. I built this to sell, but I fell in love with it immediately. I could go on and on about the bass, but this pickup blows me away. I have used these pickups in other basses, but hearing it in a fretless is amazing. Deep, full, round, clear (not boomy at all) even tone. I love Nordstrand pickups. Originally I put an NP4V in it. I have the NP4V in other basses, love it and will continue building with it. As an experiment, I decided to try a Power Blade. This really makes the fretless shine! I'm keeping it installed, and now I want to hold onto this bass instead of selling it as intended. Nordstrand all the way....Power Blade in this bass brings it alive.

Awesome Upgrade

My P Bass Deluxe is 30 years old with the original preamp and pickups failing. I upgraded them to the Nordstrand P Bass Pickups and Agular preamp. What a difference! The full punch was restored with an added boost. Our sound guy was amazed. It took time to reset my levels I highly recommend Fat Bass Tone as they live up to their name!!
