Henson Shaving AL13-M Blue Machined Aluminum DE Safety Razor, Medium Exposure

I'm super with both Maggard razors and the Henson Shaving AL-13 M that I ordered. Maggard shipped quickly and was packaged securely. The Henson razor really impressed me. It's my third DE razor and I expected I might get a small cut on my first use, but really didn't! It is really precisely made and I have been pleasantly surprised with the how grippy the handle is while wet. I'm able to shave my legs in the shower again! I was happy with the RK blades Henson ships with their razors, and the DE blades I already had have worked nicely as well.

This is probably the last razor I will need to buy. It has given me the most comfortable nick-free shaving experience since I bought it a year ago. The trick is not to apply too much pressure and expect to complete the shave in more than one pass. I no longer experience the irritation I had using cartridges. Interestingly the stubble seems to grow out evenly now compared to other razors but it also grows quicker, necessitating daily shaving instead of every other day. The razor is very high quality and you can tell its construction has been well thought out. While it is a more expensive razor, it saves you money in the long run because it uses inexpensive DE blades. The razor is made of aluminum so make sure not to drop or bang it.

Great Safety Razor!

I have been using the Henson AL13 Razor for a couple weeks. Best shave I have ever had. Smooth shave without the razor burn. I also ordered the Proraso Eucalyptus Oil and Menthol Pre and Post Cream and Shaving Cream. They smell and feel great on the skin.
