Extremely impressed with this precision razor.

The razor I want to like

I really like the appearance, build quality and that this razor is made in the USA. But after multiple shaves, I don't find it to be a good performer for me. It probably has a lot to do with technique but I find I do not get nearly the same close, comfortable shaves with this razor as my others (Rockwell 6S, Muhle Rocca, Vintage Gillette Slim Adjustable). Also I have to be careful when cleaning the razor itself, as the edges on the top cap are extremely sharp. I have cut my hands multiple times washing and drying the top cap - not the blade. I'm glad others are happy with theirs because I am always in the corner of American companies making products in the USA. I just wish I were as satisfied with actual shaving results as I am everything else about this razor. I paid $150 for a razor that now I would rather not shave with. Hence 3 stars.
