An interesting soap

This is a really great shaving soap once you figure out how to lather it. For soft soaps like this, I generally take a scoop off the puck and lather in a bowl. That didn't work for me as my 24MM badger brush absorbed all the product with minimal lather produced. I had to resort to lathering directly off the puck but once I did, the results were amazing. Great lather, very dense, and slick. Just be prepared to use a bit more soap than you might expect and you won't be disappointed.

So I bought this soap a year and a half ago, was disappointing with the performance back than, (in all fairness, I feel the same about many other soap companies) nevertheless, since the first attempts with DE I tried again with SR now. It's still not so good in my opinion, it does foam well, but the performance is not good enough, regarding the scent, it was also a disappointment (too faint - but not a bad scent in any way) but really it's less important. I really like the packaging, label, and it seems that the quality control is at a very high level, so an extra star for that...
