Great knot, great customer service

I bought this knot and 3 others as replacement knots for several Ever Ready brushes. They are great knots, priced well and hold lather well. Maggard customer service is wonderful. I ordered the knots on a Thursday and they were delivered to me over a thousand miles away on the East Coast on Saturday.

Good replacement knot

I installed this into my Omega mixed midget handle after steaming out the original badger/boar mix I considered too scritchy. The Maggard’s knot is soft to the touch but you have to heat it up a little under warm water and push somewhat hard to get it to splay for face lathering. Overall it is similar to my 20” Fine synthetic but a little stiffer since only 50” sticks out of the handle. Setting it higher would probably make it looser but it will be great for travel.
