Decided on this Ralf Aust 6/8 Spanish Point as my first new straight razor after reading many positive reviews of his work. I chose this razor because I wanted to try a heavier blade than my 5/8 razors and I like having the double jimps. It did require some getting used to, but I have acquired a great three pass shave with it and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. The razor was shave ready upon receipt and Maggard Razors service was exceptional once again.
