Pretty much the ideal travel brush

It seemed like a lot to spend on a travel brush when there are perfectly good options for half the price or less (Maggard's own 18mm Timberwolf, for example), but I'm glad I went for this one. It's small, but not so small that it's hard to hold. It's synthetic, so it dries quickly. And the STF knot is super-soft, and even at 19mm still holds enough lather for 3 passes.

Awesome brush

This is a great brush, whether compared to other synthetics, badger or boar. It creates lather very easily and releases it easily too. This brush feels like badger but releases lather better than my 3 Simpson Best Badger brushes (55,56, Duke D3). The 19mm knot is big enough for me and it fits in a pill case for travel. It is a little too tall for the small Simpson brush tube. I bought this for travel but it quickly became a favorite at home.
