Semogue 1470 Beech Wood Handle Pure Boar Bristle Shaving Brush, 21mm

A very good brush

I have tried a variety of boar brushes and always come back to a 'traditional' size knot around 21mm x 50mm. Those work well on my face and don't feel like I am using a mop to apply lather. I over the years, I always kept a Semogue 620 (another great brush) in my shave den and would replace it with the same model when it wore out (over many years). This time, I decided to try the Semogue 1470 since it had the same knot size as the Semogue 620 and it did not have the boar bristles painted/dyed like a badger brush (something that always annoyed me). I found that the 1470 round handle was more comfortable in my hands than the 620 square handle. It was well built. I am surprised such a quality brush is sold for such a little price. I like it.
