I am an outdoor enthusiast with several different kinds of base layers, suitable for cooler and cold weather. The same problem applies to motorcycles, hiking climbing, and anything where the temperature changes during the day. Unless you want to Undress on the trail and completely stripped down you better have pants that zip all the way down the side or you’ll be taking your boots off as well. Hiking boots, mountaineering boots, ski boots, and motorcycle boots. Not one of the big premium outdoor brands offers a full zip base layer that can be removed midday when the temperature start to rise. Nobody wants to take their boots off and get undressed. Mosko solved the overheating issue with classic wool fabric and now we get the best of both worlds. And the detachable hood on the top is another great feature that nobody seems to have considered. I got the SET and I could not be happier. Comfortable and warm to start my day and I can still vent or remove layers without any fuss or bother. Well Done Mosko.

Comfortable gear

Well designed and really comfortable gear. Easy on off design with no need to remove knee braces is a great feature!

Kneeds a little extra

Nine hours today in the cold, rainy Andes of Ecuador and the merino layer is much appreciated. Still, it’s showing some evidence of chafing/pilling and fibre stretching over the kneecaps. An outer layer of light, flexible mesh fabric over the kneecap area might provide needed protection against chafing inside my (unlined) Gore-Tex pants.
