Great kit, instructions could be better

I don't have much bike fixing experience but was able to install the motor and battery in a few hours. The video instructions were great, but I wish there were written instructions as well. It's difficult to scrub through a video on my phone when I'm covered in grease. That said, it's still 5 stars because I could do it without much trouble.

Install tips, cables and shift sensors

1. Buy new cables. The old cables may have a flat spot where crimped or have some fray and won’t slide back in the sheath. $10 may save you some frustration. 2. Clamp the shift sensor can to the frame, when the sheaths are all so short, that you don’t have a straight pull anywhere. For me, trying to install at the shifter was a bust. Strap it to the frame on the cable run with 4 tie wraps.

After a few days of use, I'm incredibly impressed with the power of the motor and the battery range. I've easily made 25 miles on hilly ground with less than half a battery. My one complaint would be that many of the tools required for this build were hard to find and cost me around $50 total. Supplying some of the tools in the kit would be very helpful.
