Yoga Studio Grip Yoga Mat 4mm

I've had my mat for about a month now - it arrived very quickly and was well packaged. In terms of grip on the top, it's absolutely fantastic - no more sliding palms in Downward Dog! The mat does have a tendency to slightly bunch up, however, on carpeted floors and requires some smoothing out (I haven't been able to test it on non-carpeted floors.) It also marks more quickly than I'd anticipated - from my very first practice, the vapour from breathing on the mat in Child's Pose left a mark which didn't disappear for days, even after spot cleaning! Overall, though, this is the best mat I've owned and I would recommend it to fellow yogis.

This is a great mat! I've been using a cheap mat for about a decade and finally upgraded. It's so grippy, my downward dogs have never been easier! The thickness is good - I haven't had to double over my mat to protect my knees. It's a little heavy so doesn't curl at the edges during your practice but might not be the best for taking to a studio. I can tell already that the surface is going to mark as you use it, it's not something that bothers me but something to keep in mind if you want a mat that will stay looking prestige.
