Retevis RT97S Portable GMRS Repeater

Works fine

My Vertex repeater broke. Installed this with the RepeaterID voice Id and RT97S/MXR10 Power Adapter. Works fine. Bought another one with the same accessories.

Decent repeater so far

Seems like a good little repeater so far. I'm getting 6.6 watts out of it. Retevis MA01 antenna mounted 25 foot above ground, 7-8 foot above the roof. SWR 1.0 and I'm reaching almost 3 miles in most directions. 2.5 miles is solid with typical Ohio terrain.

Nice little unit. Seems to be functioning well although I have not range tested yet. I have several of these in service from previous purchases and they are years into service and functioning well.
