Nice mild clamshell
The T2 is a nice clamshell razor and there are few of them. Much easier for daily cleaning. The razor has a good feel. It’s quite mild on the low settings. I am using it between 3-4 to get a close shave, up from 1-2 on my last razor. Partly due to a completely closed or absent comb which makes it mild by design. Recommend if on sale.

Going to take time
I just received my T2 as a replacement for a Parker TTO razor that I managed to drop and damaged the TTO mechanism. I’ve been shaving with an Edwin Jagger 3-piece and Parker TTO for years. I recently dropped my Parker and bent the mechanism. Tried doing some repairs but no luck. But given that I’d had the razor for 15 years it had given good service. So I decided to move up to a Rockwell based on all the reviews I’d seen. I also thought it would be nice to have an adjustable razor. I have shaved with it exactly 1 time. Initial impression - the twist mechanism is way over damped. Like turning a spoon in cold molasses, i thought I was doing something wrong until I saw the doors start to move. I am used to a relatively mild razor with EJ so I thought i would start with a 3 setting. It felt kind of aggressive. After my first pass, I lathered up again, and turned the razor down to a 2. I couldn’t tell if I was shaving or not. I really hope that the mechanism loosens up after some use, and that I manage to figure out a setting that feels at least as good as the Edwin Jagger that cost a third of the price.
