Jimmy Peated Whiskey Outstanding

Everything worked even better than the specs. 1 month in a 5 lt cask and already it is tasting like Laphroaig. Service from BeerCo was outstanding and the chat and help on the phone invaluable. All round 5 stars well deserved.

My first all grain spirit kit and I was blown away by the smell and flavours from this whiskey. Based on what I had read I did a 1.5 run using two of these kits. I stripped the first wash and then added that with the second wash when it was ready and did a spirit run. It's come out really well, lots of peat, smoky smooth. Soaked on chips for a couple of days to get the colour right and then into a small barrel for aging. I think this one will get a lot of sampling...
