M1 Helmet Headband - WWII - Reproduction

We have been shopping for restoration materials from J.Murray, Inc. 1944 since early 2000's and have always found their products and the restoration services to be of the highest degree, including our recent purchase of several of the M-1 Helmet Headband. Outstanding Product and a Great Company to work with.

It seems that the material which covers the headband webbing is not made of leather, when the original is always made of!! I remenber you have sold few time ago some heaband reproductions were made of leather.....Could you explain why you have replaced leather by an other material, I suppose this is for economical reasons.....

I replaced an original WW2 headband with this and couldn't spot a difference. I used the head band in a renactment in Normandy. Quality product.
