Francis No-Tie - Blue

Not My Preferred Style or Size

In the past, when S (Slim) width was available, I loved the lace-up & tie style. When S was no longer available, I could manage with the same style with my corrective inserts b/c I could snug-up the ankle. The current Francis No-Tie N width works with the two sole inserts and heel insert provided with the shoe; however; I have to tug the strings up to make the ankle sufficiently snug. The tugging the strings removes the slip-in feature. How I long for the original size 10 Slim basic lace up and tie!

I'm getting used to these

A recommendation from my orthotist sent me to Orthofeet. It took several orders to find the right size, which turned out to be 11.5 Narrow. I've been wearing them for several days now, and I had hoped to order another pair in black. Unfortunately, there were no 11.5 narrow versions of the Francis No-Tie available in Black. So I'll just keep looking while enjoying the blue ones I have.

Love the shoe, but the pull tie is too long

I have very narrow feet and a high arch, so I need to open the laces before putting on and taking off my shoes. When I pull the laces closed, the pull tie is really long and flops around a lot. It’s a pain to have to tuck the pull tie into the first laces.
