The new one doesn't stay cold nearly as long

I purchased a blue medium sized fifty/fifty bottle a little over a year ago. Maybe two. I have beat the living pulp out of it on accident, and the seal still holds (for now). New one definitely keeps the water cold - but unlike my old one (with the same style lid) after twelve hours my new bottle is completely out of ice, and my old one is still trucking along
