They serve exactly the purpose I ordered them for
I ordered these to use as backup with a disc or cup. Despite having used those for 5+ years, I am still unable to get the hang of them completely, and leaking is not uncommon. So, I purchased these to stop buying disposable liners. I've used them for six months now and they are perfect for exactly what I bought them for. Some days, I just wear them and nothing happens, and some days, they are precisely the backup I need them to be. I regret not buying an additional pair or two so I'd have enough for every day of my period without washing in the middle. I actually thought the fact that the absorbent part doesn't go super far up in the back would be more of a problem for me, but surprisingly that hasn't been an issue at all. I contemplated small or xsmall, but ultimately went xsmall because people said in different reviews they prefer a more snug fit period underwear, and I am glad that I did. I typically wear a small or xsmall, so they fit my normal size. They are quite stretchy, as well. I don't disagree with other reviews, they are a bit bulky, but I expected that from this type of product anyway and honestly after six months, I'm used to it and it doesn't bother me so much. I've never used other period underwear, so I can't compare. I have no problems with the quality. They seem to be sturdy, and I haven't noticed any signs of damage yet. I try to rinse them out when I take them off, a little hand washing each of them with soap on my next laundry day and throw them in the wash all together with a load. My two caveats would be that I have seen some leaking at the seams. Sometimes blood will seep in at the seams in the very bottom of the underwear, where it will accumulate most while I'm sitting or standing. It hasn't become a significant problem, like full failure in my hour of need (again, these are backup so if it comes to that I'm really SOL), but I read in some other reviews that this was an issue and I have definitely seen that to be true. Additionally, I do have a heavy period, and I cannot imagine how often I would have to change these to accommodate that if these were my only protection. On the first three or four days, it might be hourly. So they suit me very well as backup, but with a particularly heavy period such as mine, I might need quite literally dozens of pairs if I used these as primary coverage.

Great .... in black
I have many pair of these underwear and they're fantastic HOWEVER. The pretty colors only come in size 2x or smaller and they fit small. The black/neutral colors fit true to size. I wear a 2x and the black ones fit comfortably but I ordered a green and purple in 2x and they are tight, more like a 1x.

Way better than I expected and I'll never go back to pads
I was hesitant to try period underwear, largely because having to change your whole underwear rather than using a disposable product is way more of a hassle. I had started with another cheaper brand that has that tight thin microfiber fabric and it really felt no different than the plastic-y pads with how stiff they were. They felt like they were a uti waiting to happen. I invested in a pair of Period brand after doing a lot of research and now I love them and have enough to cover my full week. They're super comfy, not stiff at all, and I love the colors of the sportystretch and wish they were available in more styles. I still double-up with a pad when I'm at work because there's no way for me to change, rinse, and carry around wet underwear in public with me all day, but when I'm home and overnight they're the absolute best. I was so used to pads all my life, and now I dread when I have to put one on.
