Have not been disappointed with Hastings products. This is a replacement to a Hastings 5724 gin which performed flawless for years and hundreds of lifts. So for this 5800 has not disappointed. It's robust, lite and easy to deploy. I like the heavy dutyness of a chain binder but the strap binder is beefy. It doesn't slip or stretch or tangle. Have set approximately 18 transformers since receiving it. Heaviest was 1840 lbs. 3P/150kVA...No problems.
