Full Count 2978-2102 Dartfold Type 2 Denim Jacket Washed Indigo

Great fit, perfect fabric for summer, awesome piece from a great manufacturer. One note, not sure if this is a “more recent run vs older run” or a “jdm vs export” thing but comparing this against a Dartford Type 2 from a couple years ago purchased from a JDM retailer, the leather patch was sewn on after the distressing process on this piece and sewn on before the process on the older piece. This completely changes the look of both the patch (on the older piece its completely illegible, just a wrinkly dry leather rectangle; on the newer piece it looks like a fully untouched brand new leather patch like you’d see on a pair of loomstate jeans) and the back of the jacket itself - since the newer model doesnt have any puckering or distressing at all around the stitching on the back. Prob not a big deal for most, I’m personally fine with it, but if you’re as into the minute details as this price point and level of niche maufacturing demand, its worth being aware of.
