Great with a little work

They're really solid, well made pedals. However, they weren't much of a functional upgrade out of the box- the molded pins are rounded and so don't offer any better grip than the plastic pedals we were replacing, nor are they much lighter. But with a vise and a file, I got them nice and grippy with just a few minutes of work. My 5yo is stoked on them.

Great quality, poor grip

These are great pedals if your kiddo is just riding pavement, but if they are venturing into the dirt, do them a favor and seek out a pedal with better grip.
