Mask is fine but issues with strap

I ordered 2 masks, open this one second after trying on the first, so was familiar with how to tighten them. On this one the string got scrunched up on itself, like it was worn out, and overall feels a little bit different than the blue mask which worked fine. Maybe XL sizes were sitting in a warehouse too long? The one that was one was L
