I’m so glad I found this pattern. I can relive my childhood.

Checkered Slippers

I love these slippers. Reminds me so much of my childhood. My grandmother made my sisters and I these checkered slippers every year for Christmas. She taught all of us girls how to knit and crochet. Now we are making the same things for our grandchildren. I am so happy that Mary Maxim still have all the same patterns after all these years.
