Crocheted or Knitted Ripple Afghan, and Pillow Pattern

My granddaughter wanted to make her dad a blanket like his gramma made for him. As it’s seen better days. I couldn’t find my mother’s patterns but this is the style she wanted to try. It’s perfect, easy to follow, especially for for her first project. I’ve helped with basics & she’s doing really well.

I am having a few qualms but will do it.

I have always wanted to make ripple afghan. The pattern being available in both crocheted or knitted made it easy for me to finally buy this pattern. I'm always impressed with the variety of colors with which to choose from. The instructions are written out well, and are easy to follow.
