Heavenly Scent
I thought that Cool Wood was the oud whose scent that most resembled honey but I was wrong. For those who have sampled Cool Wood, CKN is essentially a superior, deeper version of that scent.
The product description for this oud really explains everything you need to know. It is a subtle scent that does not project and so those expecting an oud with sillage found in something like Middle-Easterner will be disappointed. However, those who love delicate, sweet ouds and who wish to sample what is probably the finest Aquilaria Sinensis available for < US$1,000 cannot go wrong. At least buy a sample if you are caulking at the price and I’m confident you will find yourself buying more in the near future.
