Caron Simply Soft Yarn

I love Caron Simply Soft Yarn. I use to stalk up on it when it was on sale. I was bummed when I couldn’t buy it anymore. Then I found you all. So I’m buying some to do blankets and get my stock down. It’s great yarn.

This yarn is shown as #4 but is thin and more like #3. I was not able to use it for the afghan pattern I intended but switched to another one using an F crochet hook. The yarn is also prone to split frequently. I'm making it work using smaller stitches but definitely do not recommend using for an afghan. On a positive note it is very pretty, just wish it was a true #4.

I absolutely love Caron soft yarn. This vintage speckle is one of my favorite yarns. I am finally making myself a blanket. Hopefully I will get it done by October.
